Cath Kidston names chief operating officer

Fashion and accessories retailer Cath Kidston has promoted Geert Peeters to chief operating officer, following his successful three year tenure overseeing the brand's global supply chain.

Peeters first joined the team at Cath Kidston as supply chain director in 2012, and was later promoted to director of global supply chain and product development in early 2013. His career in the supply chain industry however spans over 25 years and he has held a number of key positions at fashion companies including VF Corporation and Levi Strauss & Co.

"I am very pleased to be recognising the significant contributions that Geert has made in helping Cath Kidston grow to where it is today," commented Kenny Wilson, chief executive at Cath Kidston. "When we brought Geert in a little over three years ago, we tasked him with managing a supply chain, which spans four continents and many time zones.

"He has done an excellent job carrying out his responsibilities and has also demonstrated great leadership qualities. I look forward to working closely with him in his new capacity as chief operating officer."
