Doutzen Kroes is revealed as the new brand ambassador for Hunkemöller

Top model Doutzen Kroes has traded in her wings from Victoria Secret for lace and satin as Kroes has been named as the new brand ambassador for Dutch lingerie brand Hunkemöller. In her new role, in which Kroes succeeds former brand ambassador Sylvia Meis, she will act as the face for the lingerie brand campaigns whilst designing her own capsule collections for Hunkemöller.
"We are very proud that Doutzen has become our new brand ambassador," said Alexandra Legro, Global Marketing and Communications director at Hunkemöller in a statement. "Her personality and passions will inspires a new direction for our products and marketing. We are going to develop some very unique campaigns together."
During a press presention held in Berlin, Chief Executive Officer of Hunkemöller Philip Mountford unveiled the first collection to be co-designed by the model together with Kroes herself, which will launch under the name of 'Doutzen Stories.' Each collection is intended to reflect a different facet of the model's personality and will include lingerie, swimwear, sleep wear and lounge wear.
"I am thrilled to have Doutzen as our new brand ambassador," said Mountford in a statement. "She represents our brand values and as an international top model she will be able to increase our brand awareness around the world. Doutzen is a natural, radiant, beautiful, stylish and of course very sexy woman. We will be working together with Doutzen over the next two years on the development of the brand."
The model sees her partnership with Hunkemöller as a "great new opportunity" to design her own lingerie collection. "I'm very proud to show the world a little bit more of myself and my passion for lingerie through my collection for Hunkemöller," said Kroes. "It is a brand that is close to my heart as I grew up with it in the Netherlands, it is a brand with a strong heritage."
The first 'Doutzen Stories' collection is set to launch during an exclusive pre-sale online on October 27 and will arrive in stores on October 31. Prices for the collection are set to range between 14,99 euros and 44,99 euros.
