El Ganso names new chief financial officer

Spanish fashion label El Ganso has strengthened its management team with the appointment of Juan José Pérez as its new chief financial officer.
Pérez, who has worked for KPMG, financial management firm Moss and most recently led the multinational development of Douglas perfumery, will be responsible for the financial planning and systems of the fashion label. He will also become part of the leadership committee of the company.
This new appointment comes just months after the LVMH-backed investment fund L Capital took a 49 percent stake in the business. At the time, the investment was to “invigorate” the brand and drive growth in international markets. It’s goals for 2016 is to open more retail units in Spain, as well as in its priority markets - France, Mexico and the UK.
