Agent Provocateur has roped in ex-managing director of Dior Homme - Fabrizio Malverdi as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective May 2, 2016. He would replace Garry Hogarth, who left the company in February this year.

Malverdi’s major responsibilities as the new CEO of Agent Provocateur would include expanding brand's footprint in Asia - particularly in Japan, while focusing on the new collections under ready-to-wear and accessories segments.

At Dior Homme since 2011, Malverdi had succeeded in taking the men’s formalwear, leather goods and shoes, and retail presence of the brand to it next level. He was with LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton almost for a decade, where he joined from the Mariella Burani Fashion Group to become managing director of John Galliano. Later he quit John Galliano to become CEO of Givenchy before making a come-back at Dior.

At the early stages of his career, Malverdi worked with Italian brands including Vivienne Westwood, Martin Margiela and Calvin Klein Collection at Staff International.
