Harold Tillman is named Ethical Fashion Forum Chairman

London - Harold Tillman, former Chair of the British Fashion Council of has been named the Chair of the Ethical Fashion Forum (EFF), the industry body for sustainable fashion, during their pivotal 10 year anniversary.

He brings with him years of experience, as Tillman was the former head of fashion retailers Jaeger and Aquascutum and served as Chair of the British Fashion Council for five years, from 2007 to 2012. He also served as Chair of Fashion Matters for three years at the London College of Fashion.

“I have been following The Ethical Fashion Forum and the work they do for a number of years and was keen to get more involved,” said Tillman. “I’m very passionate about sustainability and increasing best practice of where and how things are manufactured.”

Tillman’s appointment comes at an important moment for the Ethical Fashion Forum, as the body develops its new online platform which it aims to use to further sustainability in the industry on a global scale. The new platform aims to help provide fashion professionals across the world with the right connections and resources needed to grow successful, sustainable businesses.

In addition to Tillman’s appointment, the Ethical Fashion Forum is currently building a high profile industry panel of experts and inviting professionals in leadership positions across the fashion industry to join and help further the success and impact of its work. The EFF was founded in 2006, and counts over 10,000 members in 141 countries.
