Hotter appoints new chief executive

Hotter, which is known for its comfort-focused footwear, has appointed former Lands’ End managing director Sara Prowse as its new chief executive.

Prowse replaces managing director Peter Taylor who stepped down earlier this month, he was with the business for four years from January 2012.

Prowse has held numerous senior retail positions, most recently she was managing director for Europe for US lifestyle brand Land’s End from 2012 until January this year, and she also served as a brand director at Shop Direct for nearly three years.

Hotter chairman, Alan White, said: "We are delighted to welcome Sara to Hotter, she joins us at an exciting time of growth and development for the Hotter brand.

"I would also like to thank Peter Taylor, who has stepped down from his role, for his hard work and endeavour since joining four years ago, and we wish him every success in the next phase of his career.”
