UK department store group House of Fraser has tapped former Asos chief information officer Pete Marsden as interim chief information officer, who takes on the position with immediate effect.
His appointment comes swiftly after the sudden exit of Uday Kotla, who left the group after four months. HoF has confirmed Kotla departure is based on a mutual decision, citing he left to purse other career opportunities. A spokesperson for the department store group told Essential Retail: "We wish Uday every success in the future and the very best of luck."
Marsden , who previously worked at Asos for two years, is set to take over Kotla former task of streamlining HoF's IT strategy and delivery. He will be reporting directly to HoF chief executive officer, Nigel Oddy and will be working closely alongside with Andy Harding, chief customer officer.
