Iana Dos Reis Nunes will be reuniting with her old boss Jacobs. The woman who spent 10 years at Louis Vuitton before she rose to P.R. director under Marc Jacobs tenure at the luxury goods house, will now be joining Marc Jacobs at his namesake label as the head of global communications on August 10. She will be succeeding Bill Daley who left the company just last week.

Currently, Dos Reis Nunes is Vice President of Public Relations at Coach, a post she has held since November 2013. Her entire career has focused on the luxury goods market. In addition to her experience at Louis Vuitton, Dos Reis Nunes spent a year as Vice President of Global Communications at The Row, and had a stint as Executive Director of P.R. at Chanel.

Her new position at Marc Jacobs will mark her return to the LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton family. Marc Jacobs is currently under a transition phase with their new CEO Sebastian Stuhl. In March, it was announced that the company would be shuttering the Marc by Marc Jacobs label to focus on the signature Marc Jacobs line.

Their signature line is expected to have a broader range of prices and contemporary to luxury offerings going forward. The company is also working heavily on expanding its pr and marketing staff. A rumored IPO has been the hot topic of the fashion industry for months now, but, so far it is still just speculation.
