Inditex names Iñigo de Llano its new UK managing director

Spanish fashion conglomerate Inditex has reportedly appointed Iñigo de Llano as its UK managing director.

A source close to the fashion company revealed to Retail Week that de Llano is set to succeed Lorenzo Marcheselli as managing director for Inditex UK and Ireland. Marcheselli, who has held the position for over two years, has been promoted to the role of commercial director for Zara Europe.

De Llano first joined the company back in 2004 as chief financial officer at Inditex Russia, before being named managing director for Inditex Venezuela.

In the past he has held positions as the managing director for Inditex Franchises Americas, US and Puerto Rico and Australia. Prior to joining the team at Inditex, he held positions at El Corte Ingles and Netfinger.
