British fashion house and womenswear retailer Jacques Vert Group has reshuffled its management team, which led to the exit of not one, but two directors.

Mike Halliday, who has been with the group for 26 years left his role as merchandising director last week, according to Drapers, whilst Sarah Morris is set to exit her role as group trading director after a two year tenure early next month, once the internal restructuring has been completed.

Teresa Tideman, chief executive, explained that the management overhaul had been introduced to help give "cleared brand accountability" and smooth out the group's structure, to ensure better lines of communication. "Both Sarah and Mike leave with our enormous thanks for all their hard work and commitment and our best wishes for the future," she added.

Halliday first began his career at Shop Direct's Littlewoods before he became part of the team at Jacque s Vert in 1988. Morris joined the group from John Lewis. where she was merchandise operations director.
