Jaeger chief executive Colin Henry has been awarded an honorary professor and lifetime achievement award by Glasgow Caledonian University’s London campus.
The retail boss was recognised for his “outstanding contribution to the fashion industry” at GCU’s graduation ceremony last week.
Commenting on the honours, Henry said: “There are certain fundamentals that I have learned. Creativity and innovation will be the lifeblood of our industry, entrepreneurship will continue to offer unprecedented scope for success, and don't be afraid to make mistakes and take risks.
“To succeed, my advice is to ask 'why?' The quest for knowledge is paramount.”
Glasgow Caledonian University’s London campus is situated on Fashion Street, Spitalfields in East London and offers MBA and MSc courses including digital fashion strategy and fashion business. In 2013, it launched the British School of Fashion, a creative educational business hub.
