New York - Jennifer Crawford, the executive vice president, global communications, for Calvin Klein Inc. has resigned. While the announcement might come as a surprise for some, Crawford felt that it was time to move on. She told WWD, "I’m taking time off to travel and explore. I feel like I’ve been working so hard for so long. I’m ready for a new chapter."

Her resignation seems to come on amicable terms with Calvin Klein Inc., where she has worked for the last eleven years. Crawford worked her way up the corporate ladder at Calvin Klein where she rose from director of corporate communications to her most recent role as executive vice president, global communications. The company is currently seeking a successor for her.

While no announcements have been made for potential successors, Calvin Klein Inc., which is owned by PVH could easily pull from within the PVH family. Some of PVH's other brands include Sean John, Kenneth Cole New York, and Tommy Hilfiger. An announcement for Crawford's replacement could easily be expected in the coming weeks.
