L.K. Bennett taps Jo Hooper as Group Product Director

Former Head of Buying for womenswear at John Lewis, Jo Hooper, is set to take on a new challenge as Group Product Director at accessories and ready-to-wear brand L.K. Bennett, with immediate effect.

In the newly created role, Hooper will oversee product vision and strategy across L.K. Bennett’s main sectors, which include footwear, ready-to-wear, bags and accessories. She will also helm the label's design, buying and merchandising teams.

“I’m delighted to be joining such a prestigious brand that draws on its iconic British heritage and look forward to continuing to develop its position as a leading fashion house,” said Hooper on her new appointment to Retail Week.

Hooper will be reporting directly to Robert Bensoussan, Chief Executive Officer at L.K. Bennett. “We are very excited to bring Jo into this important position to implement our product strategy, develop our ranges and drive further growth of the business as a global aspirational womenswear brand,” added Bensoussan.

In addition to the new appointment, L.K. Bennet also announced its upcoming move to a new head office, located at Rivington House in East London. The label has signed a 15 year lease for the entire 17,743 square foot building.
