Luc Perramond named CEO of Ralph Lauren Watches and Jewelry

Luc Perramond, currently the chief executive officer at La Montre Hermès is leaving his role to take on new challenge as president and chief executive officer of Ralph Lauren Watches and Jewelry.
“I am very excited by this new challenge, in particular as I will be working directly with Mr. Ralph Lauren himself, one of the great designers of our time,” said Perramond on his new position in an e-mail seen by WWD.
Perramond, who is set to take on his new role next year February, will be relocationg from his current location in the Swiss city of Neuchâtel to Geneva. He brings with him years of experience within the luxury and watch division, after overseeing the development of women's watches at La Montre Hermès, which now account for 60 percent of the product offering.
Ralph Lauren Watches and Jewelry is a joint venture with Compagnie Financière Richemont, parent company of a series of luxury watch and jewelry labels, including Cartier, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Piaget, and Van Cleef & Arpel, which was formed in 2007.
