LVMH announces appointments to the Board of Directors

Luxury conglomerate LVMH (Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy) is set to propose the appointments of Madame Clara Gaymard and Madame Natacha Valla to its Board of Director at its upcoming General Meeting on April, 14.

Madame Clara Gaymard, a graduate of l’Ecole nationale d’administration, has held numerous positions within the French Government, including the role of the Direction des Relations Economiques Extérieures (DREE) in the Ministry of the Economy and Finance, which she held from 1986 to 2003. She held this title prior before being named President of Invest in France Agency, from 2003 to 2006. Afterwards she was named the Chief Executive Officer of General Electric of GE France, a role she held until earlier this year.

Madame Natacha Valla, an economist, first began her career at the European Central Bank, where she worked until 2005 before she joined the Banque de France. In 2008 she was taken on at Goldman Sachs as an Executive Director, a role she held until 2013. She is currently Deputy Director of CEPII, the main French think-tank in International Economics, where she heads the Macroeconomic and International Finance programme. She is also a member of the Commission Economique de la Nation and scientific advisor of the ACPR.
