Fashion veteran Lynne Koplin has stepped down from her role as President of premium denim and sportswear label J Brand.

The premium US brand, which was acquired by Japanese conglomerate Fast Retailing in 2012, has yet to announce her successor or its plan for the role, but stated Koplin left her role to pursue other career opportunities.

Koplin was tapped by Jeff Rudes, co-founder of J brand and former Chief Executive Officer, in March 2014. She was brought on board to help restructure the LA-based denim brand and expand its product range to include a wide variety of items, such as women's tops and accessories as well as expand its wholesale operations.

Prior to joining the team at J Brand, Koplin was Chief Merchandising Officer at True Religion, President and Chief Operational Officer. She held similar roles at Tommy Bahama's women's arm as well.
