Marks and Spencer has reshuffled responsibilities for its retail and e-commerce departments to cover the maternity leave of its executive director of multichannel Laura Wade-Gery.
Leaving to go on maternity leave on September 1, Wade-Gery’s role will be handled by director of retail Sacha Berendji and director of M&S.com David Walmsley. Both will report to Marc Bolland, Marks and Spencer’s chief executive until Wade-Gery returns in January.
Meanwhile, chief finance officer Helen Weir will be responsible for e-commerce distribution during the four-month maternity period.
