Footwear label Mahabis has appointed Dean Cooper as its new sales and commercial director as the footwear brand prepares to expand its business from B2C into B2B. Creative director Graham Gordon announced the appointment on LinkedIn, describing Cooper’s experience and commercial background as a strong fit for the company’s next phase of growth.

Cooper joins Mahabis after more than 30 years in fashion and commercial leadership. Most recently, he served as managing director of Wave Spas between September 2025 and April 2026, with responsibility for its overall P&L, growth strategy and operational performance.

Prior to this, Cooper spent three years as global sales director at Panache Lingerie, where he grew global revenue from 25 million to 30 million pounds across international markets.

He also previously held commercial director roles at Wacoal Europe and Roja Parfums, alongside senior positions at Diesel, DKNY and Burberry. His career has spanned wholesale, retail and e-commerce, with experience in international expansion and commercial transformation.

Gordon said Cooper’s “commercial instinct” will be important as Mahabis moves into its next stage, adding: “Dean's experience and commercial instinct are exactly what we need as we move into our next phase of growth, from B2C to B2B."
