Next appoints Dianne Thompson as non-executive director

British high street retailer Next has announced the appointment of Dianne Thompson as a non-executive director, effective from 1 January, 2015.

She brings with her years of senior management experience, including her 14 year tenure as Chief Executive Officer of Camelot Group and 3 year role as a non-executive Director of the Home Office.

The appointment comes after the company board announced that Jonathan Dawson would step down from his role in the board during Next's annual general meeting in May 2015.
