Ken Worzel, current president of Nordstrom.com, has been promoted by Nordstrom Inc as the company’s first Chief Digital Officer. The decision to give Worzel more responsibilities reflects Nordstrom’s goal to “accelerate its full-price and off-price strategies across e-commerce, digital and mobile, and brick and mortar efforts”, the company said in a statement.

“As Chief Digital Officer, Ken will be responsible for aligning and leveraging Nordstrom’s capabilities across multiple functions to ensure that we are meeting the evolving needs of our customers”, said Erik Nordstrom, co-president of Nordstrom Inc.

Worzel first started at Nordstrom in 2010, as vice president of strategy and development, and was appointed as president of Nordstrom.com in 2016. “In addition to leading Nordstrom.com, he had been providing leadership for out enterprise-wide data science, product management, and UX teams”, added Erik Nordstrom.
