Online marketplace Notonthehighstreet.com, which recently celebrated its 10th anniversary, has appointed Hannah Webley-Smith as customer director.

Webley-Smith will work closely with the management team to drive development of the customer experience and direct connections with small creative businesses through the site. In addition, she will also join the marketplace’s executive team.

Joining from Benefit Cosmetics where she served as marketing director for the UK and Ireland, she has more than ten years’ experience working in luxury and brand marketing and has held senior positions at L'Oreal, Jo Malone, and Liz Earle.

Her appointment is the latest in a string of new hires for the e-tailer, as part of the brand’s continuing strategy to push growth forward. Sarah Atkins, formerly at John Lewis, was appointed head of brand marketing, while Ben Irons was named head of digital and Louise Winmill as head of corporate communications and CSR.

Notonthehighstreet chief executive Simon Belsham said: “With her wealth of experiential experience and expertise, Hannah will bring great insight that will help us to further build on these foundations and develop our unique customer experience, as well as strengthen our growing management team. I look forward to welcoming her and our other new recruits to the team.”
