Oasis and Warehouse appoints managing directors

Oasis and Warehouse has promoted their brand directors to the newly created managing director roles to oversee all aspect of the fashion brand’s strategy across digital, retail, international, wholesale and marketing for each respective brand.
Oasis has promoted Sarah Welsh, who has been brand director at the retailer since 2015, to managing director, while Warehouse has named its brand director, Paula Stewart, who took on the role in 2012, as managing director.
Both Welsh and Stewart will report to group chief executive Hash Ladha, who was promoted to the his role from the position of chief operating officer in October 2018, following the departure of Liz Evans, who left to join Fat Face as chief executive.
Commenting on the promotions, Ladha said in a statement: “I am delighted for both Sarah and Paula and would like to congratulate them on their well deserved promotions, this is a very exciting time for the brands and for them personally.
“We have inspirational and talented Leadership Teams in both brands and I am confident that with Sarah and Paula leading them they will continue to create compelling and distinctive product and brand propositions. I am looking forward to working closely with Sarah and Paula to deliver the Group’s strategy for growth.”
Finance, IT, distribution, property and HR for the group will continue to report to Ladha.
