Patagonia appoints General Manager for Europe

Outdoor outfitter Patagonia has announced the appointment of Ryan Gellert as the company's new General Manager for Europe.

Patagonia, which has seen profits triple since 2008, will see Gellert in charge of European markets and the Middle East.

Gellert joins from Black Diamond Inc, where he spent 15 years in various roles including Brand President, VP of Supply Chain Management and Managing Director of Black Diamond Asia.
