Pentland Group names new Chairman and CEO

Pentland Group, the global brand management and retail group has promoted Andy Rubin to the newly created role of Chairman of its brand management division.
Andy Long, the current Chief Operating Officer of the Group, stands to succeed Rubin as Chief Executive Officer. Both Rubin and Long will assume their new roles with effect from January 1, 2015.
“Both Andy's are leading a successful brand building organisation which will produce record sales and profits in 2014 and has won various awards recognising the team's achievements,” commented Stephen Rubin, Chairman, Pentland Group. “We wish them continued success in their new roles and look forward to many more years of global brand building.”
Rubin, who is a member of the Group's founding family, has been with Pentland Brands for over twenty years and held the position of CEO for sixteen. Long has been with the Group for nine years, and was appointed COO in 2012.
