Recycled materials firm Recover has named Enes Adak and Fehmi Yüksel as co-chief executive officers, marking the next stage of development in the company’s evolution.

Adak will continue to serve as chief product officer, overseeing Recover’s product, commercial and operations functions, while Yüksel will maintain the role of chief financial officer, leading strategic direction and stakeholder engagement.

In the dual CEO position, Adak and Yüksel have been tasked with leading Recover’s growth journey, centred around strengthening customer service, partner support across the textile value chain, enhancing operational delivery and expanding its global platform.

Adak has previously held senior leadership roles at Li & Fung and Forever 21, bringing nearly 20 years of experience to his new role at Recover. Yüksel, meanwhile, holds over 15 years of leadership experience, including in his prior positions at McKinsey & Company, where he served on the firm’s transformation and sustainability teams.

Recover’s executive chairman, Hans Ploos van Amstel, said the co-CEO structure intends to combine Adak’s operation and product leadership with Yüksel’s expertise in strategy, finance and business transformation. Ploos van Amstel added: “Together, they bring complementary capabilities that will help accelerate execution, strengthen our partnerships, and continue scaling the business globally.”

Adak said the focus will be on turning the “strong foundation” Recover has built into “greater scale and commercial impact”, while Yüksel noted that Recover was positioned with confidence amid a period in which the textile industry is accelerating its circular transition.

Yüksel continued: “Our priority is to strengthen partnerships across the industry, accelerate the adoption of recycled cotton at scale, expand our global platform, and continue building a business that creates long-term value for customers, shareholders and partners.”
