Richard Collins, current interim chief executive officer at Tesco's clothing label F&F is set to be succeeded by his permanent replacement for the role, former BHS managing director Richard Price early next month.

Collins first joined Tesco as store director in 2005. In 2007 he was appointed store director for clothing and general merchandise operations and was named chief operating officer of F&F in March 2013. He was appointed as interim CEO in September 2014, when the role's predecessor Jason Tarry was named chief product officer.

"We’d like to thank Richard Collins for all his hard work helping to develop the F&F brand over the last 10 years," said a F&F spokesperson to Retail Week. "During this time Richard has led the transformation work on the UK refit programme, introduced RFID technology and as CEO led the team to a strong trading performance." Collins will officially depart the role on August 28, but it remains unclear if he will taken another role at Tesco.
