Richard Quinn signs as a Designer at Debenhams

Department store Debenhams has added Central Saint Martin’s graduate Richard Quinn to its Designers at Debenhams portfolio.

Quinn, who has already captured editors and influencers with his vivid designs, will introduce his debut collection for Debenhams in May featuring 12 dresses that will range in price from 69 to 149 pounds.

A second collection will be created for spring/summer 2019, and both will be available online and in selected stores.

Debenhams managing director of fashion and home, Steven Cook said: “We are hugely excited to introduce Richard to the roster of Designers at Debenhams. Collaborating with design talent to create collections with appeal to the high street is a compelling part of Debenhams and we are delighted to recruit Richard’s fresh and unique aesthetic to our offer.”

Quinn added: “Debenhams has a strong heritage in collaborating with designers and creating accessible high street collections.”

Quinn graduated with a Master of Arts in Fashion in 2016 and whilst creating his own label he has also established a print studio which he also opens up to young designers.

In spring 2016, leading design duo Preen also joined the Designer at Debenhams stable of talent. Following the success of the range a capsule Studio by Preen dresses is added for spring/summer 2018 whilst extending the line to 48 stores in the chain as well as online.
