River Island promotes marketing director to new role

British high street fashion retailer, River Island, has promoted its marketing director, Josie Roscop to the newly create position of customer director.
In her new role Roscop has been tasked with increasing engagement with customers across all channels as well as product divisions, a challenge which is set to build on her previous experiences as marketing director. She will be in charge of building River Island's customer relationships, as well as handling the brand's marketing, PR, VIP services and graphic teams.
"Josie’s excellent knowledge of our customers will greatly support River Island’s ongoing mission to make sure that our customers have the best possible experience at all points in their journey with us," said River Island CEO, Ben Lewis, on the appointment to Fashionmag.
"I am excited to start my new role as Customer Director at River Island," added Roscop. "My aim is to ensure that we offer a fantastic customer experience in store and online, and that our customers are always at the centre of everything we do."
