Roger Davies to join John Lewis as Group Procurement Director

The John Lewis Partnership has announced the appointment of Roger Davies as the Group Procurement Director. The company said, he will be taking up the new position this summer.
Commenting on the new appointment, Patrick Lewis, Group Finance Director of the John Lewis Partnership, said in a media statement: “Roger joins us with a wealth of knowledge in both retail and procurement, and I look forward to working with him to grow the value procurement can offer the Partnership.”
The company said in a statement that Davies joins the business from Marks & Spencer, where he has worked for eight years and currently serves as the group head of procurement. Before M&S, he worked at British Airways in a variety of leadership roles including property, IT and services procurement. He is also a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply and a member of the leadership committee for the fellows.
