Sean Dougherty leaves New Look board of directors

The board of New Look Retail Group Ltd has announced that Sean Dougherty has stepped down from the board with immediate effect.

Commenting on the development, Alistair McGeorge, New Look’s Executive Chairman, said in a media statement: “Both the board and I greatly appreciate the contribution Sean has made to the company over the last three years and wish him well in his future endeavours.”

According to the company’s website, Dougherty joined the board as a non-executive director in June 2015. He joined Brait South Africa Limited in 1997 and has been responsible for investments in technology and consumer businesses. He previously worked for Euromoney Publications in London. He is a director of Premier Group Limited, Natures Garden Pty Limited and Brait South Africa Limited.
