Sophie Turner Laing to resign from Debenhams board

Sophie Turner Laing will be stepping down from the board of Debenhams upon the expiry of her three year term of office on July 31, 2015. She is completing two three year terms as the non-executive director.

Commenting on Laing’s imminent departure from the company’s board, Nigel Northridge, Chairman of Debenhams said, “Sophie's input during her six years' service on the board of Debenhams has been extremely valuable. We are very grateful to have had the benefit of her insight and support and wish her well in her future endeavours.”
