Superdry chairmen Peter Bamford has said he will step down by the end of 2019, The Sunday Times reports.
The move will reportedly “heighten the focus” on CEO Euan Sutherland as he continues to navigate the company through difficult times. In February, Superdry reported global brand revenue up 5.4 percent to 479.6 million pounds for the 13-week period to January 26, 2019, but group revenue was down 1.5 percent to 269.3 million pounds.
Superdry co-founder Julian Dunkerton has recently made it clear that he’s looking to return to the company, after leaving it in March 2018. Dunkerton described the company's recent performance as a “damning indictment" of its "misguided strategy.”
