The European subsidiary from Japanese lingerie company, Wacoal Europe, has made a series of new internal appointments as the company continues to structure its management team. The lingerie firm has reveal three new appointments, who will work closely with Hans Hornemann, General Manager EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa and Russia). Hornemann recently joined Wacoal Europe from his former position as Regional CEO for the Middle East, Central and Eastern Europe at Triumph International earlier this year.
Wacoal Europe has promoted former export director, Evelyne Piegay, to Country Manager France for all of the firm's brands. She will oversee a number of aspects for the group's labels, including sales, marketing, financial aid and customer service whilst continuing to manage other main European markets. The company has also appointed Rosemarie Castellini as Country Manager for Germany, Austria and Switzerland whilst Edwin van den Bergh has been named as Country Manager for the Benelux markets as well as Scandinavia.
In addition, Hornemann will take over direct tasks and responsibilities for Wacoal's Russian and Middle East distributors. "Our strategy is to continue to develop the Wacoal Europe brand portfolio across Europe and beyond, increasing the awareness of the Wacoal name and the qualities and values that it stands for," said Hornemann on the new appointments. "We believe strengthening our management structure further will help us to achieve our business ambitions further and to be the industry leaders."
