Wacoal Europe appoints new general manager

Former Triumph executive Hans Hornemann has been named as general manager for Wacoal Europe, with responsibility for the UK, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Russia.
Currently regional chief executive for the Middle East, Central and Eastern Europe at Triumph International, Hornemann will take up his new role at the end of February. Prior to Triumph he held senior international roles in both wholesale and fashion retail at Cartier, Pandora, Georg Jensen and Ecco.
Tracy Lewis, chief executive of Wacoal Europe said: “I am delighted that Hans is joining us. He brings with him experience in building retail and wholesale distribution networks and this will be hugely valuable in furthering the development of the Wacoal Europe business and the presence of our brand portfolio globally.”
The news comes as the lingerie and swimwear manufacturer changed its name from Wacoal Eveden to become Wacoal Europe Limited, as part of a major restructure plan.
