Contemporary Parisian menswear brand AMI is to open its first UK store in London's Mayfair on Duke Street.

Founded in 2011 by Alexandre Mattiussi, who previously trained at Givenchy, Dior and Marc Jacobs, AMI offers ready-to-wear menswear that has a “distinct Parisian chic”, and as part of its expansion plans in Europe, America and Asia the brand is set to open its first London store in the autumn, to add to its three stores in Paris.

The UK flagship will be located at 75 Duke Street, part of Grosvenor’s London estate, and will sit alongside other menswear retailers including British tailoring label E. Tautz and heritage menswear brand, Private White V.C. The street also houses Jigsaw’s Duke Street Emporium and footwear boutique Penelope Chilvers.

Craig McWilliam, executive director for the London estate at Grosvenor Britain and Ireland, said: “Duke Street is fast becoming one of the most exciting retail destinations in London’s West End, welcoming seven new retailers in the last 18 months.

AMI is a fitting new addition and will play a significant part in ensuring this part of our estate is a great place to visit, to work and to live.”
