Premium British fashion brand Aquascutum is relocating its menswear-only store on London’s Jermyn Street to a bigger neighbouring unit, as it looks to expand its menswear flagship store.

The new 2,100 square foot store at 106 Jermyn Street will open this summer, when the existing 1,200 square foot unit at numbers 78-79 will close. The store will continue to be Aquascutum’s only store dedicated solely to its menswear collection.

Mark Taylor, chief operating officer at Aquascutum, said: “Jermyn Street’s position as one of the world’s leading menswear destinations, as well as the area’s heritage and reputation for high-quality fashion made it the perfect location for our flagship menswear store.”

The expansion of the menswear store follows Aquascutum’s successful relaunching its menswear brand on Jermyn Street three years ago through a lease with The Crown Estate.

Anthea Harries, portfolio manager for the St James’s area, including Jermyn Street, at landlord The Crown Estate, said: “Aquascutum’s relaunch of its menswear brand in St James’s three years ago, and now its expansion into a larger, flagship store clearly demonstrates Jermyn Street’s appeal as one of the world’s premier destinations for men’s fashion.”
