Value Retail-owned premium outlet shopping centre, Bicester Village has opened its long-awaited extension, which will see it growing by a third, with the addition of 30 new stores, more restaurants and an all-new VIP area.

Located close to Oxford, Bicester Village has welcomes new stores from Joseph, Escada, Christopher Kane, Zadig and Voltaire, Roksanda, Philipp Plein, Under Armour, Dsquared2, See by Chloe, Bamford, The North Face, Acne Studios, Rapha, and Orlebar Brown, to bring the number of stores at Bicester to more than 160.

In addition, British accessories brand the Cambridge Satchel Company has also returned to the village after previously hosting a pop-up.

There is also a new multi-brand boutique, The British Collective, positioned as a one-stop Christmas shop offering designer brands across womenswear, menswear, lifestyle and sportswear in a boutique designed by interior decorator and illustrator, Luke Edward Hall. It features products from Chinti and Parker, Lily and Lionel, Trevor Pickett, Markus Lupfer, and Johnstons of Elgin.

A Tesco superstore was demolished to make way for the extension, which also includes a new by-appointment-only VIP area, where visitors can have private shopping consultations and personalised trunk shows.

Bicester Village is one of 11 outlet villages in Europe and China owned by Value Retail and last year it attracted more than 6.4 million visitors.
