LinkStreet, which connects the Bullring and Grand Central in Birmingham, is continuing to be a hub for small, independent retailers as it adds a string of new pop-up shops.

London-based luxury urban unisex fashion and accessories brand will open a pop-up from November until the end of the year, while local jewellers Summer and Silver, currently based in Birmingham’s jewellery quarter will be taking a unit until the end of the year to promote its contemporary silver jewellery.

Additionally, Eness Cosmetics is adding to the line-up for December to sell its natural and vegan cosmetics and toiletries.

LinkStreet received significant investment in 2015 from owner Hammerson with a full refurbishment that was inspired by some of London’s popular and innovative retail spaces such as Carnaby Street and Seven Dials, with the aim of creating a space for contemporary, independent and local brands.

The latest indie retailers will add to the existing mix of tenants, including Pretty Green, Irregular Choice and Ben Sherman.

Hammerson UK commercial director Iain Mitchell said: “The brand and retailer curation at LinkStreet continues to develop and evolve and the arrival of these new, unique brands will undoubtedly inject further character into this unique space.

“Our investment in LinkStreet has enabled us to engage our shoppers with a new experience every time they visit, whilst giving independent and smaller retailers a foothold in a prime regional shopping destination.”
