Bond Street buildings up for sale

A number of properties are rumoured to be up for sale on New and Old Bond Street in London including the UK flagships of Alexander McQueen, Tod’s and Ralph Lauren.
The 23,265 square foot office and dual retail building housing Alexander McQueen and Tod’s at 5 Old Bond Street has reportedly been placed on the market by insurer NFU Mutual for 160 million pounds, according to The Times. Both stores still have more than 12 years remaining on their leases.
While the Evening Standard is reporting that the Middle Eastern owner of 143 New Bond Street has hired agents to seek 30 million pounds for the building that houses Ralph Lauren.
The news comes as two other landlords in the area put their properties on the market, including buildings housing numerous luxury brands including Amanda Wakeley, Christian Dior and Mulberry.
