has confirmed that it will be conducting a trial selling its clothes through Asos with a capsule collection from May.

The trial will comprise of a capsule line of around 100 items, as the young fashion e-tailer looks to drive brand awareness of the Boohoo brand in both the UK and international markets that Asos serve.

Asos currently has over nine million customers and eight local language websites outside of the UK, in the US, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Australia, Russia and China, in comparison to that has close to three million active customers and only has three local language sites outside of the UK, in Germany, France and Spain.

The deal marks the first time that Boohoo has sold clothes outside of its own website.

The announcement follows Boohoo’s completion of its 10 million pound extension to its distribution facility on the Heasandford Industrial Estate in Burnley, which the brand says is about “creating capacity for the next 3 years and securing infrastructure for the future.”
