The long awaited Cath Kidston x Winnie-the-Pooh collection, the first instalment of the Disney collaboration, has landed in stores, with most product lines selling out within hours.
The British fashion and lifestyle brand said it experienced a record number of visits to its website, hitting a new record of over 3500 percent higher than usual, as customers bought up the collection across accessories, homeware, kids, and fashion.
The sale started with customers from the Disney x Cath Kidston priority email club, who were given the opportunity to shop the range early via a special access code, which then lead to a record average conversion rate in the first hour of launch, the brand has revealed, marking the “biggest ever full-price sales day” online for the retailer.
Commenting on the response to the launch, Sue Chidler, marketing director at Cath Kidston said: “We have had an incredible reaction to the Winnie-the-Pooh launch online and in-stores. We saw customers previewing the Winnie-the-Pooh range from 3pm and when we opened up access to the pre-sale, numbers soared almost immediately.
“We are absolutely delighted by the reaction from customers and really excited about the next launch in December to the Mickey and Minnie range, which is our next collaboration.”
