American luxury accessories brand Coach has opened its regional flagship store at the Bullring in Birmingham, as it continues to push forward with its expansion plans in the UK.
The Birmingham flagship, which spans over 3,000 square foot, marks the brand’s fourth UK store outside of London and stocks Coach’s full range of bags, footwear, outerwear, and accessories.
Catherine Levesque, president of Coach Europe, said: “We are thrilled to trade alongside such an esteemed list of luxury labels and at such an iconic location. The centre’s exceptional footfall is a great opportunity for us to offer our luxury products to an ever-growing affluent customer base.”
Michaela Moore, general manager of Bullring and Grand Central, added: “Coach’s opening is demonstrative of Bullring’s continued appeal to international aspirational brands as the location is already home to a prestigious retail mix.
“Coupled with the recent opening of Russell and Bromley’s debut store in the city, this news further cements Bullring’s position as one of the UK’s premier retail and leisure destinations.”
The Bullring has an annual footfall of over 36 million, with retailers performing on average 55 percent ahead of their national averages.
Coach will be adding to their regional flagship portfolio this autumn with the opening of its first store in the south east of England at Bluewater. The 1,750 square foot store will be located on the Lower Guildhall, adjacent to House of Fraser, and will stock the brand’s full range of men’s and women’s products.
