Coast partners with Doddle for fast-track returns

Fashion retailer Coast is partnering with Doddle to offer its customers free fast-track returns at more than 50 Doddle locations across the UK.

Coast customers opting to return via Doddle will have their refund processed within three business days, instead of the usual seven or 18 working days. In addition, customers can also pay 1 pound to have a Doddle courier collect the item they want to return from their home via the fulfilment service’s Doddle Runner service.

Coast head of digital, Emma Bonar, said: “We want our customers’ online shopping experience to be as easy and hassle-free as possible. Working with a partner like Doddle allows us to do that.”

Doddle has a growing network of stores in train stations, universities and shopping centres around the UK that are open early until late, with many open seven days a week. This partnership with Coast is the latest retail tie-up for the service, whose partners already includes Asos, Warehouse, New Look and Oasis.

Doddle chief executive, Tim Robinson, added: “We’re delighted to be working with such a well-known British label as Coast to offer its customers a convenient and fast way to return online shopping.

“Quick and easy returns policies are critical to winning over online consumers, but it can be a challenge to optimise this process. Doddle is able to support retailers by making the returns process even quicker, for the benefit of the end consumer.”
