Danish brand Samsøe & Samsøe to open London flagship

Danish brand Samsøe & Samsøe has announced it will be opening a London flagship store in July at 47 Beak Street in Soho.

The 100 square metre store will offer ready-to-wear, shoes and accessories for both men and women and comes as part of the brand’s strategic focus on the UK market. In February 2018, the brand opened its first mono-brand wholesale showroom in Shoreditch, East London, while in February of this year, it secured a shop-in-shop within Selfridges London and Birmingham. For Pre-Autumn 2019, Samsøe & Samsøe will be available in all UK branches of Selfridges, as well as all Harvey Nichols stores within the UK.

“We are greatly committed to gaining a strong presence in the UK, as it is a core market for our further growth. Getting the stamp of approval from a global fashion capital and major shopping destination is pivotal for an emerging brand like Samsøe Samsøe,” CEO Peter Sextus said in a statement.

Creative director Mia Kappelgaard added: “London is near and dear to my heart. As a very young adult, London was my first home away from my parents – and I absolutely loved the energy of the city. I can’t wait to see our clothes in the city that truly inspires me the most!”
