Luxury designer label Elie Saab is expanding its global retail footprint with the announcement of its first flagship in London, due to open during the spring of 2016.
The Elie Saab four-story boutique will be located at 24 Bruton Street, in the heart of the prestigious Mayfair shopping area, and will span nearly 9,000 square foot to house the brand’s ready-to-wear, accessories and fragrance lines.
The London flagship will also host the fashion house’s third haute couture salon, following in the footsteps of the brand’s stores in Paris and Beirut.
The design of the store will be a continuation of the designer’s collaboration with the architectural design agency RDAI and will reflect Elie Saab’s “creative sensibilities” as well as encapsulate the brand’s trademark style “a fusion of femininity, luxury and modernism," according to the press statement.
To further reinforce the Paris Fashion Week designer’s presence in the city, the label will also be relocating its shop in Harrods in February 2016 from the ‘International Designer’ section to a larger space in the ‘Superbrands’ area. Elie Saab first opened its corner within Harrods in 2008.
Elie Saab currently has stores in Paris, Beirut, Hong Kong, and Dubai, where the brand is set to open its second boutique in January 2016, and the designer label has plans to open further retail units in 2016.
The Elie Saab flagship on Bruton Street will sit alongside other designer labels including Hermes, Temperley London, Isabel Marant, and Stella McCartney.
