The London-based internet portal Farfetch.com has launched a new click-and-collect service, which will allow customers to pick up items at any one of over 100 fashion boutiques the world over after ordering them online, perhaps from a store thousands of miles away.
Farfetch, through which more than 300 luxury fashion shops in 26 countries sell products from over 2,500 brands online, has launched the service to align digital and physical distribution and create more business for participating stores.
"Our business proposition means we are able to offer a more far-reaching version of traditional click and collect services, complementing our global customers' lifestyle. Farfetch Click & Collect empowers our boutiques with a platform that extends their presence around the globe whilst also increasing footfall the the boutiques," said Jos Neves, Farfetch founder and CEO.
