Nineteen new retailers have signed up to be part of the outlet shopping offering at the 150 million pound leisure and interment complex, Resorts World Birmingham, which is due to open at the NEC later this year.

The outlet mall, which will consist of 51 units, is now nearly 90 percent left after signings from fashion and footwear retailers including Bench, North Face, Skechers, Phase Eight, New Balance, Vans and Jeff Banks, who will be joining anchor stores Next Outlet, Nike Factory Store and Gap Outlet.

The development, which also includes a range of restaurants and bars, an eleven screen IMAX cinema, a casino, conference and banqueting facilities, and a hotel and medi-spa, will be the West Midlands’ first large scale outlet shopping experience.

Steve Myers, managing director - development of Genting UK, said: “Resorts World Birmingham be will be offering a new retail offer to the West Midlands region with the first large scale outlet mall to open here and Resorts World Birmingham and our retail partners are looking forward to bringing a new and exciting world of shopping to visitors.”
