Men’s fashion retailer Fat Buddha has opened a new flagship store on Queen Street, in the centre of Glasgow’s shopping area.
The new store features two floors. The ground floor stocks iconic brands like Nike, Patagonia and Adidas, while the basement is devoted to street-art supplies like spray paint, sketch books, and paint pans.
For Fat Buddha, which was founded over ten years ago and has a strong e-commerce presence, the store will provide additional space for popular apparel and footwear brands.
”After two years of scouring the city for the perfect location, we are absolutely delighted to finally be able to open our new flagship store,” the store’s owner, Leslie Doherty, said in a press release. “The new space is inspired but the local architecture, and has a striking monochrome look to it. The Queen Street area is where I managed my first retail stores 23 years ago, so this really does feel like a homecoming.”
