FatFace expands UK footprint with Shaftesbury opening
UK lifestyle clothing brand FatFace has announced the opening of a new store in Shaftesbury, marking the first time the company has established a presence in the historic town.
Located at 38 High Street, the store spans 1,959 square feet and is set to open this month. The new retail space will showcase FatFace’s latest collection alongside core heritage items from its womenswear, menswear, footwear, accessories, and homeware ranges.
The Shaftesbury location will create six new jobs for the local community. Staff members will receive employee benefits, including staff discounts, well-being services, learning and development resources, and flexible working arrangements.
FatFace stores director Karen Johnston said: “We are very excited to be opening a new store in the heart of Shaftesbury. Our new location gives us the opportunity to bring FatFace’s unique product offering and great quality clothing to residents and visitors alike in this historic town. We look forward to welcoming customers through our doors and becoming part of Shaftesbury’s high street.”
The retailer currently operates 171 brick and mortar stores across the UK and seven locations in ROI, alongside an international digital e-commerce business. In 2023, the brand was acquired by UK retail giant Next.
