Contemporary women's wear label Finery, which launched earlier this year is set to open it's first permanent retail space with London boutique Other/shop.

The space, which will officially open on Monday, follows on from the label's successfully pop-up store and will be the brand's only physical point of sale within London. Other/shop, which carries both emerging and established labels for men and women, was founded by Matthew Murphy and Kirk Beattie in 2012.

"I've known Matthew and Kirk for a long time, and I’ve always admired what they do and their taste levels, and I thought that [the store] fitted very well with the Finery aesthetic – and they thought [Finery] would offer them something that they haven’t got already," said Caren Downie, founder and brand director of Finery to WWD. "They are quite selective, so it was flattering," she added.

Other/shop will offer a 35 piece edit of Finery's fall/winter collection, which will include fashion, footwear as well as accessories. Finery's retail space will be located in the boutique lower ground floor, with a window to celebrate the launch. Prices for the collection range from 15 pounds for jersey items to 325 pounds for a leather coat. At the moment, Downie has not decided if Finery's partnership with Other/shop will continue after the season, but added: "if it works well, we'd both be open to continuing it."

Finery is currently stocked at Brown Thomas in Dublin, in addition to a number of online stores which are owned by the label's investor, Global Fashion Group. The label is also sold through its own online store, offering online delivery around the world.
